Install
From the download section. Compare the SHA-256 shown there with the file if you want to verify the download.
Open the DMG and drag the app into the Applications folder. First launch takes a few seconds — the detection models load locally.
The key arrived by e-mail after purchase. Paste it into the licence dialog. The check runs on your machine.
The four steps
Copy a finding, discharge letter or note from your practice software and paste it into the left pane.
Click Anonymise (the app's replace step). Automatic categories (diagnoses, dates, insurance numbers, medication) are replaced right away. Suggestions — mostly names — wait in the sidebar under Open decisions: confirm or dismiss each one. Mark anything the detection missed by selecting it and choosing a category.
Copy the text with placeholders from the right pane into ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or an e-mail to a colleague. Only placeholders leave the app.
Paste the answer into the Re-mapping tab. Placeholders are replaced with the originals from the mapping table. The table lives in memory only and is deleted when you close the app.
Tables and spreadsheets
The Table tab takes CSV/XLSX pastes and replaces whole columns by header (name, date of birth, insurance number …). Export the table with placeholders as CSV or XLSX; re-mapping works the same way.
Good to know
- Detection is rule-based plus local language models. It will miss things — review the hits before sharing. That review is the job.
- German and English texts are supported.
- Nothing is transmitted. The app only contacts our server to check for updates.
- Windows version: planned.
